Evidaxis

Coverage atlas · Pilot 2026

What we measure — and what we don’t.

Transparency is part of the instrument. This pilot covers 3 cohorts across 3 industries. Absence from Evidaxis means not yet measured, never a negative judgment.

Known gaps (declared)
  • Closed-source systems. Private SaaS leaves few public, hard-to-game signals; this pilot tracks OSS / research-native systems where the data is rich and tamper-resistant.
  • Systems without a paper. Several tracked systems (e.g. in coding agents) have no academic publication, so they have no citation axis and cannot, by construction, satisfy the two-axis gate. They are shown, honestly, as single-axis.
  • New systems. Genuinely new (2024–25) systems lack the citation history to confirm momentum yet. They accrue it over time — the observatory’s value compounds.
  • Beyond AI. The taxonomy reserves room beyond AI; this pilot measures three AI frontiers only.
