The denominator behind a zero

Every stage is computed at build time from snapshot 2026-08-22. The final zero is reported with its full measurement denominator.

  1. 1

    Registry members

Current census members in the snapshot.

  2. 2

    History sufficient

At least 4 distinct weekly observations.

  3. 3

    Two axes measurable

Development velocity and citation signals are both measurable.

  4. 4

    Gate eligible

History, axis coverage, cohort floor, and reference-measurement rules applied.

    Rising published

Positive signals published after two-axis convergence.

Sensitivity to the axis z threshold

The current methodology uses z ≥ 1, a cohort floor of 5, and at least 5 average weekly commits for development velocity. The table changes only the z threshold; all other rules stay fixed.

Axis z thresholdActivity floorConvergence signals
z ≥ 0.5 5 commits/week 0
z ≥ 1.0 5 commits/week 0
z ≥ 1.5 5 commits/week 0
